Boston Bridges Tour
April 16 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
This tour of Boston’s bridges will tell the history of Boston through its bridges. The tour is led by longtime bridge engineer Reed Brockman, who has been running tours for the Boston Society of Civil Engineers for over ten years.
The tour will start outside at the Museum of Science’s front steps at 10 AM. Participants can follow as far as they would like as we work our way from the Charles River, under the Zakim, along the Greenway to the Fort Point Channel, ending by South Station. Wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes – the tour is rain or shine!
It is expected we will reach Causeway Street by 11:30 and South Station by 1:30 latest.
