Science on the Street

sotsScience on the Street, an initiative of the Cambridge Science Festival, takes engaging science, technology, engineering, art and math to cultural, community and arts festivals as well as camps and school programs across the state.

A huge thank you to the Biogen Foundation who sponsors Science on the Street and makes it possible for us to bring amazing events all over Massachusetts.

Participate in Science on the Street

Participate. Know how to make liquid nitrogen ice cream, operate robots, or explain why a knuckleball rises? We’re looking for scientists, educators, or STEAM outreach professionals interested in coming on the road with us for a day or on a frequent basis. Tell us about the engaging activities you’d like to do!

Request. Run an awesome event in your neighborhood that would love to have some science engagement? Science on the Street travels throughout Massachusetts to community and cultural events. If you’re interested in having us be a part of your next community outing, please let us know. Request SciStreet.

Volunteer. If you’re interested in lending a helping hand at any of our events, we could always use people who are interested in lending a helping hand. Volunteer for SciStreet.
