An Introduction to Medical Simulation

Update: All MGH events (Medical Simulation and Ether Dome tours) are at capacity. Learn how realistic robot simulators are transforming training in the health professions. In a hands-on demonstration by the MGH Learning Laboratory, participants will be introduced to a medical mannequin. Also, guided by an MGH orthopedic surgeon, participants will learn to locate and retrieve tiny objects from inside a knee model, using surgical instruments and a scope. Cost: Free. Sessions are by age. This event takes place on Monday, April 17 and Friday, April 21 11am: Children 7 - 10 and their caregivers (full) 12:30pm: Children 11 - 15 and their caregivers (full) 2 pm:  Teens 16+ and Adults (full)
